Milton Salas, Ph.D., serves as Economist at the Kenexa High Performance Institute. He is involved in micro and macroeconomic data collection and econometric analysis to inform Kenexa’s business strategy and aid in the creation of new products, services and solutions provided by Kenexa. He also offers advice and assistance to the business development unit in a variety of specific markets relating to foreign direct investment. Before joining Kenexa, Dr. Salas worked at the Office of Fair Trading, at the Institute for Social and Economic Research, and at HSBC in Mexico. He holds a Doctorate and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Essex and a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico, where he was ranked first among 25,000 students. Dr. Salas’ thesis analyzed the determinants and the effects of foreign direct investment. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French and has a basic knowledge of German.
